Yoga

 

Yoga is the sister science of Ayurveda (the Science of Life), the oldest known wellness system which began in India more than 1,000 years ago.

 

Yoga can take the form of a regular athletic asana practice to strengthen and tone the body, or it can be used to cultivate body awareness and enhance the mind/body connection that is so important to well-being.  Our personalized yoga programs provide one-on-one Yoga consultations, for those who want to:
 

  • Have individualized training for the proper alignment and sequencing of Yoga postures
     

  • Use Yoga for as part of a holistic approach to wellness, and to bring the doshas (physical constitution) into balance
     

  • Cultivate a personal yoga home practice, or may not be comfortable attending group classes at a gym or studio
     

Fees: $45 for a one-hour private session. 

 

Couples classes, or “Yoga with a Friend” sessions accommodate two students for $25 each.
